Joshua is 3 weeks old today & he’s finally broken the 8-pound mark—yeah! He is 8lbs 2oz, which Mom is very happy about. His doc is pleased with his weight gain so he won’t have to go back to the pediatrician until he’s 2 months old. I’m sure Josh is very excited about not being poked & prodded at least every week (he actually grinned in his sleep when she told us he doesn’t need to go back for another weight check next week).

The grandmas are still here until the end of next week, so we’re keeping them busy with house projects as well as babysitting. So far, his smelly, dirty diapers aren’t scaring them off! When they leave, my dad is coming for a visit, so we’ve got plenty of help for awhile. Joshua loves being around his grandparents, who are spoiling him like crazy! Things will be much different around here when it’s just the 3 of us…
