Poor Joshua has his first cold & he is not a very good patient.  He’s got a cute little cough & a very runny nose.  The little guy is having a pretty miserable time of it, especially when Mommy has the nerve to suction his nose.  Now, he doesn’t even like when we get out the Kleenex to wipe it!  His doctor says that there’s nothing we can give him, other than nasal saline drops (which he also hates with a passion!).  She doesn’t think that he’ll ever be able to take any cold meds his entire life because of his heart condition.

Even though Joshua is sick, we’re still managing to have a good time.  We still play & have fun, just doing more sitting activities so that he can breathe better.  He’s not sleeping as much at night so he’s been taking more short naps during the day.  Hopefully this cold will get over soon, but it’ll probably take awhile if he’s anything like his parents…
