Santa came to visit Joshua last night!  And boy, did Josh make out well with presents.  It took about an hour to open his gifts–he even started to fall asleep before we were finished because there were so many.  For a little baby who’d be happy just playing with his hands, he’s got a lot of new things.  Thank you to our family & friends for your generosity.  On top of the things Mommy just couldn’t resist getting for him, he got plenty of new toys to keep him busy.  This has been the most wonderful & rewarding Christmas ever.

Joshua has been so excited to see his grandpa & uncle the last few days.  My dad is spending almost 2 weeks with us & I can tell he’s enjoying his grandson.  Josh seems to have remembered him & they picked up right where they left off–but now, Joshua is able to interact quite a bit more.  Adam & his girlfriend Adriana are here for 5 days as well.  We have explored DC, relaxed, & enjoyed spending time together.  Joshua likes having an uncle & (other than refusing to change dirty diapers) he likes having a nephew.  But how could you not when that nephew is as cute & adorable as Joshua?!?!?!
