We can now say that Joshua was born last year!  It’s hard to believe that he’s not a newborn anymore, & now it’s not even the same year that he was born.  We wish you all a happy & healthy 2007!  It was a mellow New Years for us, because Joshua & I were up for 3 hours the previous night.  Now that Josh is rolling onto his tummy, we decided that it’s not a good idea for him to sleep all swaddled up like he’s been doing since he was born.  We don’t want him rolling over in the night & not be able to roll back because his arms were trapped.  It has been a difficult process because Joshua keeps flailing his arms all over which wakes him up.  He’s getting used to it a little, but he’s not been the perfect little sleeper we’re used to.  His favorite place to fall asleep is in Grandpa’s arms but we’re working on getting him more used to soothing himself to sleep in his crib or co-sleeper instead.  He’s sure going to miss Grandpa when he leaves in a couple of days, but he’s looking forward to meeting Auntie Iris.  He met Auntie Winnie on the 30th & was so happy to meet her in person.  I’m so proud to be able to show off my perfect little boy & everyone seems to fall in love with him at first sight!
