Sitting & standing
Published by Mom January 19th, 2007 in NewsThe last couple of days have been full of new accomplishments for Joshua. He can sit up all by himself, as long as his hands are on the floor. He sat this way last night for 3 minutes while I read him a story. Josh has also been trying to pull himself up to stand & does it quite well lately. He can stand for up to a minute at a time just by holding onto my hands. I can’t believe that we don’t even have to hold him up! Eventually (sooner rather than later if he’s distracted), his knees buckle & he sits down, but he sure seems to love standing. I haven’t been able to take a photo of these new milestones yet because I’m afraid he’ll topple over if I grab the camera, so you’ll just have to believe me for now. We’ve got several witnesses, though, as Mommy loves to show off her little boy to everyone around.
Wow this guy is really growing up!
I envy you all for the joy i am sure he brings to you every day.

Dearest Joshua, I wish you were here so I could hold you. I hope your shots didn’t hurt too much. we think you of you all the time especially when a baby goes by and it makes me wonder if you are doing the same. We hope you liked your antioch soldier bear. That way you can have daddy near you. I can’t wait till I see you again.
Your grandfather went back to work today. He was able to make it almost through the day.
