Pincushion no more!
Published by Mom March 1st, 2007 in NewsJoshua had his last RSV shot on Tuesday. He’s had to go in to the clinic for these shots every 4 weeks since October, so he is very happy not to be a pincushion anymore. The poor little guy still has to get his 2nd flu shot in a couple of weeks, but at least that’s just 1 poke (since he’s gotten so big, they’ve had to give him 2 shots each time since there’s only so much of a dose that can go in a single shot). Josh is now 18 pounds! That means this little boy has gained over 10 pounds since he was born—no wonder my arms get so sore!!!
Today, Joshua ate bananas for the first time. He had sweet potatoes last week which he didn’t seem to mind, & now he got his first taste of fruit. Both seemed better than the green beans he started off with. He still likes his rice cereal the best, so that’s what we start & finish with. Erick wants us to give Joshua lima beans next—poor baby. Josh has recently discovered how much fun it is to put his hands in his mouth while he’s eating & make a big mess. Whatever makes eating more enjoyable…
How cool, a Heygood that eats veggies!
Sure wish you guys were not a continent away.
