I just had to write a quick post because my son is the cutest thing ever (sorry, but I can’t help it—he really is!).  Joshua seems to have a crush on a little actress on TV.  Whenever this commercial comes on for Stanley Steemer (I think it’s a national commercial), he will squeal & look at the TV.  He just smiles & points at the girl the entire time she’s on.  When it’s over, he goes right back to playing or whatever we’re doing.

As Erick wrote in the previous post, Joshua took his first steps.  He really did it Saturday night but we’re apparently not counting those 4 times since Erick wasn’t there to see him walk until the next morning (he was on call).  Since then, he’s been taking anywhere between 1 & 4 steps at a time but he still prefers getting around on all fours.  I don’t think he’ll give up crawling for quite some time since he’s pretty quick & efficient at getting where he wants to go that way.  I have mixed feelings about him walking so early—it’ll be easier to put him down when we’re out & about, but he’ll be getting into a whole new mess of trouble when he starts toddling about.  But I suppose it’s inevitable.  He’s a growing boy—just 2 weeks until he’s a 1-year-old!!!
