Erick left early this morning.  Even though we’ll see him in a couple of weeks, it was still sad to see him go.  He will be gone for 18 weeks—by the time he gets back, this freezing weather will be replaced with hot, humid summer weather!  We had a nice weekend with little studying for a change.  Just a little last-minute packing & cleaning but other than that, it was a good family time.

On Saturday, we went to Children’s Hospital for their CHD awareness day event that they put on each year.  It’s nice to go back & show off how big & strong Joshua’s become.  I got to introduce Erick to my friends from the Mended Little Hearts group I’m in, since he’s never been able to make it to our meetings.  Erick & Joshua took me out for a birthday dinner last night to the Cheesecake Factory since he was only here for 5 hours of my actual birthday.  Joshua is starting to get sick, so we’re keeping the partying low-key this year.  Plus, there’s too much packing left to do…
